What to expect?
Sweat + Salty sauna sessions are 40-minutes long. Sweat in our Solo Saunas or bring a friend to sweat with in our Social Sauna. Your sauna comes with built-in entertainment so you can catch your favorite TV Shows or listen to your jams on Pandora. Want to unplug completely and enjoy the suite’s light therapy? The choice is yours!
What should I wear to my sweat session?
We provide towels for your sweat session. If you feel more comfortable sweating in clothes, choose loose breathable clothing. You may also want to bring a swimsuit if you are sweating with a friend. Less is more while allowing your skin to breathe and sweat it out.
How much water should I drink?
It's important to stay hydrated before, during, and after your sweat session. A good rule of thumb 16oz - 24oz of water. We have water for purchase or you are welcome to bring your own water bottle.
Do you provide towels and water?
Yes, we provide fresh sanitized towels for each sweat session. We have a water dispenser available if you would like to refill your own water bottle. We also have water and electrolyte enhanced water available for purchase.
What can I bring in the sauna?
The choice is yours. Electronics are not affected by the Infrared. You are welcome to bring a book or choose from your favorite shows and music through our built-in tablet with endless options.
Can I sweat with a friend?
Yes! We love when you want to share the benefits of sweating with your friends. Our Social Saunas are for up to 2 people. When booking online make sure to book the Social Sauna! We will not be able to accommodate more than one person in our Solo Saunas.
What is Chromotherapy?
During your Infrared sauna session choose from 8 different colors, with each color addressing your individual need. Chromotherapy or light therapy works on various energy points to help balance your body. Chromotherapy is the science of using colors to adjust body vibrations to frequencies that result in health and harmony. Each color possesses frequencies of a specific vibration, and each vibration is related to different physical symptoms.
Can I sweat if I'm under 18?
Yes, our saunas are for ages 15 and up. If you are under 18 you must have a parent/guardian sign a consent form.
*We kindly request ONLY guest with appointments be present during their Sweat Session - We do not allow friends or children of guest in the room during a Sweat Session. This policy helps ensure that all Sweat + Salty guests enjoy a relaxing experience!
What is Infrared?
Infrared wavelengths are the invisible light on the electromagnetic spectrum that emits heat. It is not visible to the human eye but instead felt as heat and has the ability to penetrate human tissue and raise the body's core temperature. Infrared heat is helpful with: Anti-aging + Pain Relief + Detoxification + Relaxation + Weight Loss + Lower Blood Pressure....
How often can I sweat?
You can safely sweat as much as you would like (1 sweat per day). The frequency of how often you sweat will depend on your individual goals.
How is Infrared sauna different from traditional saunas?
Who should not use a sauna?
Pregnant women should not use an Infrared sauna. Always consult with a doctor while using a pacemaker. While Infrared wavelengths do not affect the mechanics of the pacemaker, heart conditions can react differently to high heat. The doctor will tell you everything you may need to know about your specific conditions prior to you using the Infrared sauna.
How do you sanitize the sauna?
Keeping our saunas clean and sanitized between each use is our top priority. Did you know that Infrared heat kills 99% of bacteria and germs? Which means Infrared saunas are already a very sterilized environment to begin with but on top of that we use all non-toxic cleaners to ensure the cleanest and most healthy environment for our guests.
What if I'm late to my session or have to cancel?
LATE ARRIVAL/NO-SHOW POLICY: If you are more than 10 minutes late to your scheduled session, or No-show, your session will be cancelled, and you will be charged for your session and/or forfeit a session.
Can I use Infrared sauna if I have metal or silicone surgical implants?
Metal pins, rods, artificial joints or any other surgical implants generally reflect Infrared waves and thus are not heated. Infrared light is used by various physicians and even used to keep babies warm in the NICU. You should always consult your physician prior to using an Infrared sauna with any questions or concerns.
